The invention relates to a device for reversing the direction of travel of any craft moved by oars. Each oar consists of 2 independent parts 1 and 2 which are interconnected by two toothed wheels 3 and 4 fixed at the end of each of them and movable in 2 shafts 5 and 6 which are integral parts of a support plate 7 which is itself articulated on the rim of the craft 9, from which it can be detached by means of a shaft 8. The design of this oar is intended above all to make any craft equipped with it move in forward motion, like all other mobile craft currently in existence. <IMAGE>
