A control system (11) for a continuously driven variable, displacement compressor (12) particularly useful in an automotive environment is shown. The control circuit controls fluid flow through a cooling or heating circuit (10) to prevent evsporator (26) freeze-up at low ambient temperatures, and does not require a clutch to control the compressor (12). Instead a valve (12) is used to regulate fluid flow and prevent freeze-up. |
