Arranged on the rear side of the money drawer is a spring-loaded lever which bears with a sliding roller 26 against the rear wall of the money-drawer insert (28 to 32). When the money-drawer insert is taken out of the money drawer, the lever 6 pivots in the anti-clockwise direction under the spring effect and thereby pivots the bolt-shaped catch member 2 out of the right-hand stop of the slot 17c, as shown in the drawing, into the left-hand stop of the slot, in which the catch member is no longer located in the locking region of the slot 34 of the locking hook 4.
