Two holes (9, 10) are dug into the ground, at a certain interval from each other, and are as wide as the future slit trench foundation wall and have the definitive depth of said wall and are filled during their formation with a thixotropic liquid, so that the final interval separating the holes is suppressed and is also filled with the thixotropic liquid, and so that the whole segment is then filled with concrete from the bottom to the top while the thixotropic liquid is discharged. The invention provides during the construction of the slit trench foundation wall into a rocky underground, to dig into the ground between the two holes (9, 10) a drilling hole (16) provided on its length with an explosive charge (17); at the lower end of the two holes a pressure effect is produced during a short time lapse, which pressure effect enables to take out temporarily the thixotropic liquid from the holes and to discharge it upwardly, as well as to fire the first explosive charge (17) during the discharge of the thixotropic liquid. The discharge may be carried out by means of a second explosive charge (18) placed at the bottom of each of the two holes, the second explosive charges (18) being fired a little before the first explosive charge (17) is fired. It would also be possible to cause a pressure air thrust at the bottom of both holes (9, 10) a little before the firing of the first explosive charge (17).
