1. Shuttleless weaving-machine, with a weft-carrying device, in which the warp threads (2) unwinding from the beam (4) pass over a rear thread support (6), then through the eyes (8, 8') of the heddles supported by several frames C1 , C2 , etc., then through the teeth of the reed (10) before finally reaching the line (14) where the fabric is formed (16), the said machine being characterised : in that the first frame C1 nearest the reed is placed at a distance a from the line (14) and at a distance b from the rear thread support (6) such that the distance a is not greater than 75 mm, and the ratio b/a is between 12 and 15 ; and in that the thickness of the frames C1 , C2 , etc. is not greater than 7 mm. |
