PURPOSE:To reduce the sound of air blow around a rear side window without narrowing the view sight, by providing such an arrangement that the side end of the upper peripheral edge in the opening peripheral edge section of the rear side window and the side surface of a roof panel are made overhang outward in the vehicle widthwise direction and are superposed and jointed together. CONSTITUTION:One side surface 1b of a roof panel 1 is made overhang outward in the widthwise direction of the vehicle below a drip channel 2 having one side part beforehand welded to the one side surface 1b of the roof panel 1, to form an overhang section 1c which is superposed onto the overhang section 3c of a rear fender panel 3, and which are welded and secured with the rear fender panel 3 and a rear pillar inner panel 4 in three layer arrangement at the A point. The terminal end face 1d of the overhang section 1c of the roof panel 1 is used as an adhesion surface for a rear window pane 5 onto which a black color pattern is printed, and which is jointed to the end face 1d with the use of an adhesive agent 7. |
