A dispensing graduated container 5 with inlet pipe 3 for liquid and outlet opening 10 for measured liquid quantity 4 comprises a water seal 15, 16 arranged between the measured liquid quantity 4 and the outlet opening 10. The measured liquid quantity is pumped out by a liquid jet pump, for example an ejector pump 12, 13, through the outlet opening 10 while it is mixed with the pump fluid. The ejector pump has a diffuser 13 which is part of the water seal. The water seal 15, 16 is arranged in the centre of the graduated container 5 and consists of two cylindrical pipes, where one pipe 16 is arranged in the centre of the other pipe 15, while there is a ring-shaped inlet 7 at the bottom of the graduated container. In this way, one gets a dispensing graduated container which cannot put out concentrated liquid or other measured liquid chemicals, because it is first necessary to build up a partial vacuum that is large enough to suck the liquid through the water seal and into the diffuser. <IMAGE>
