There is described a peristaltic pump for blood circulation outside the body, which consists of a body (1) having a concave seat (2) with a semi-cylindrical wall (3), with which wall at least one hose (4) is brought into contact for conveyance of the blood flow, the position of the hose being maintained by a suitable device, and furthermore of an arm (5) which is concentrically rotatable in the seat (2) by actuation by an electric motor, the arm also possessing a crank for manual actuation and having on its two ends rotatable rolls (8, 9) which squeeze the hose and induce conveyance of blood flow. In order to prevent rotation of the roll-holding arm in the direction opposite to the correct direction, in such a pump, with simple means, if at least one hose is inserted in the pump, the roll (8, 9) is mounted so as to be rotatable about its own axis (6a, 7a) with interposition of a free-wheel (12).
