The invention relates to the perfumery industry. The method of preparing a perfume composition involves solubilising a perfume essence, preferably a natural essence, in a mixture of alcohol and an emulsifier, then adding water in order to produce a perfumed aqueous solution which is homogenous and stable. The solution thus obtained comprises, in addition to the natural perfume essence, the emulsifier and the alcohol, an acidic dye which does not have affinity for enamel. The emulsifier is preferably an octylphenol with ten moles of ethylene oxide, and the alcohol is preferably ethyl alcohol. Application to a perfume composition which can be used in toilet flushing systems. |
