PURPOSE:To form the external form of a collector to a cylindrical shape, and to miniaturize the collector while easily manufacturing an oscillator by boring grooves to the insides of blanks separated into two, unifying the blanks to form an ellipticl cavity and maching the outer circumference of the blank to the cylindrical shape. CONSTITUTION:Grooves as half an oval are bored to the insides of the corresponding surfaces of collector blanks 41, 42 for a solid-state laser oscillator, and both blanks 41, 42 are unified and fixed by a plate and formed to a beam- collectinting cavity 3 with an elliptical section. Both ends of both blanks are shaved to a circular shape to form stepped sections, tori 7 for clamping are pressed in to both ends of the blanks to unify the blanks, and the external forms of the blanks 41, 42 are machined to a circular shape. The blanks 41, 42 machined in this manner are made to be contained in an external cylinder 6 for a collector, and a watertight packing 5 is fitted between the cylinder 6 and a side surface 8. The external form of the collector is formed to a cylindrical shape, and the collector is miniaturized while the solid-state laser oscillator is manufactured easily. |
