PURPOSE:To obtain the titled substance useful for medical immunotherapy against malignant tumor, infections disease with bacterium or virus, immune incompetence, etc., by cultivating a specific yeast having plasmid vector, belonging to the genus Saccharomyces. CONSTITUTION:A yeast (preferably Saccharomyces cerevisiae) belonging to the genus Saccharomyces into which a gene to code polypeptide having interleukin-2 activity is inserted, having plasmid vector capable of multiplying a yeast belonging to the genus Saccharomyces in a mold is cultivated, and prepared interleukin-2 is collected. |
