COMBUSTION CONTROL METHOD FOR A INDUSTRIAL FURNACE

The system regulates the combustion of pulverized fuel in an industrial furnace. The feed speed per unit of quantity of the fuel is correlated to the flame radiation and temp. distribution in the furnace. Signals indicating the fuel flow speed are fed to a distributor unit effective to the correlation. The feed speed of the pulverized material is adjusted to an optimum value in accordance with the unit's output signals. To regulate this speed signals can be used resulting from superimposing a bias voltage on output signals from a combustive air flow control meter.
