In a measuring sensor for magnetoinductive flow meters, consisting of an electrically insulating measuring tube (1) which, arranged in a steel housing (4), is provided on two diametrically opposite sides with measuring electrodes (3), which are led radially through the circumferential surface of the measuring tube (1) and are mounted thereon, at its ends with flanges (2), as well as with magnet coils (7) arranged on the circumferential surface, a measuring tube (1) made from a flexible material made from plastic or rubber is provided for use with liquids which contain abrasion-producing solid particles, in order to improve the abrasion resistance. The steel housing (4) consists of two housing parts (5, 6) which can be laid around the measuring tube (1) and fixed to one another. <IMAGE>
