PURPOSE:To perform automatically flux removal and bend setting of a defective rod and to reduce equipment area by disposing means for supplying, rough removing, finish removing and setting in series and disposing guide means between the respective means. CONSTITUTION:The defective rods which are fed out are conveyed by each piece by a belt conveyor 15 disposed in the same direction as the direction where a rotary feeder 13 is disposed. Said rods are supplied from a guide means 5 to a rough removing means 2. As the defective rods pass between a pair of short cirlcular cylindrical rollers of the rough removing means, the greater part of the flux is removed therefrom. As the rods pass further through finish removing and setting machines 3 I , 3II constituted of a pair of deformed drum-shaped rollers, the defective rods are rotated around the axial center and are curved, by which the removal of the flux is accomplished roughly thoroughly over the entire circumference. |
