A circulation pump (4) for water-jet appliances in bathtubs, jacuzzis or the like in the form of a radial pump has a horizontal intake port (9), an outlet (10) directed upwards and a residual water drain (17) discharging from the lowest point (16) of the casing interior (15). The object of the invention is to provide a generic circulation pump (4) whose residual-water drain (17) is simple to construct, requires no attention and is not subject to faults. To this end there is connected to the intake port (9) an elbow (11), which leads past the casing bottom edge (13) and into which debouches a residual-water drain line (17), which discharges from the lowest point (16) of the casing interior (15), the elbow (11) having an internal diameter which is many times larger than that of the residual-water drain line (17). <IMAGE>
