PURPOSE:To prevent the standing wave from generating by dividing the terminating end of a wave propagating medium, and extending one of them by 1/4 of the wavelength. CONSTITUTION:The terminating end 29 of a medium 21 is divided by two by a central separating line 30 along the advancing direction of the wave in such a manner that one section A is extended by 1/4 of the propagating wavelength (lambda) as compared with the other section B in the propagating direction of the wave, i.e., in the longitudinal direction of the medium. Thus, 2tau echoes produced by the reflection of the terminating boundary can be cancelled, with the result that noreflection terminating end is formed to prevent the standing wave, thereby obtaining an efficient motor. |
