PURPOSE:To make the auxiliary lights of a small-size car easy visible from its following cars by providing auxiliary lights such as direction indicator lights, tail lights, etc. on the outside surface of the rear pillar which is part of a car body. CONSTITUTION:On the upper section of the outside surface of right and left rear pillars 1a, 1a of a car body 1, an auxiliary light, which consists of a tail light 6 serving also as a stop light and a direction indicator light 7, is fitted respectively, and the right and left rear pillars 1a, 1a, on which the tail light 6 and the direction indicator light 7 are fitted, get nearer to the center line of the car body as they go rearward, lessening the width of the car body. Therefore, the auxiliary lights are arranged so that they will not go out of the horizontal maximum width of the car body corresponding to the positions where they are fitted on. The areas of lenses are made larger in proportion to the extent that the car body width is lessened, and, on the right and left sides of a rear bumper 2, a back-up light 11 and a reflecter 12 are provided. In this way, even for a small- size car, the auxiliary lights can be fixed at higher positions, thus the light visibility from the following cars can be improved. |
