PURPOSE:To obtain a fruit drink with little bitterness by easy operation, by adsorbing limonoid substances which are bitter components contained in a fruit drink on silica gel to remove the substances. CONSTITUTION:Silica gel in an amount of preferable 0.1-50% (V/V) is mixed with a fruit drink of a navel orange, Citrus IYO hort. ex Tanaka, etc., and the resultant mixture is treated by e.g. batch or column method, etc. at ordinary temperature to adsorb and remove selectively limonoid substances which are bitter components. |
