PURPOSE:To make an engine cover possible to be set up in compact, by supporting a bottom arm on a turning assist device which energizes the engine cover or the like in an open direction. CONSTITUTION:A bottom arm 5 is projected to the outside of a car body along a front edge from one side of an engine cover 1 and situated in an extremely narrow empty space between a top surface of the engine cover 1 and the undersurface of a seat 3, and when it reaches to the body side proximate to a body width position where a body floor surface 10 is tightly attached to a body side wall 7, this bottom arm 5 is bent in an L-shaped form rearward in horizontality whereby it is finished up in a form being almost paralleled with an outer circumference of the seat 3. A preloaded turning assist device 6 or the like for the whole arm load of the seat 3 and the engine cover 1 is bolted to an inner plate of the body side wall center pillar 7 at a spot around a shaft core at the rear end of the bottom arm 5. |
