PURPOSE:To increase the drive output of a supersonic motor by disposing adjacently two or more vibrators of long shape in the propagating direction of the wave in a medium along the propagating direction, and providing a plurality of stages of the vibrators in the lateral direction of the medium. CONSTITUTION:A piezoelectric vibrator 20, to which supersonic signal is applied by a supersonic signal source 23, an elastic wave propagating medium 21 for generating a deflecting vibration upon vibration by the vibrator, and a dynamic unit 22 driven by the wave of the medium are provided. The vibrators 20a, 20b are disposed adjacently in the long shape long the wave propagating direction of the medium 21. Further, the vibrators 20a, 20b become vibrators equally divided into three sections by two lines extending in the longitudinal direction of the medium. Whe thus constructed, even if the entire lateral length is increased, the vibrating frequency of the wave can be increased, and the wavelength can be shortened, thereby obtaining a supersonic motor having large drive output. |
