PURPOSE:To reduce size, save energy and to facilitate design by arranging the gear sections of discontinuous cam gear while shifting by non-integer number of teeth. CONSTITUTION:The right half gear section is shifted by half tooth in the direction of non-tooth sections 2p, 2q. Consequently, the number of teeth will increase by one to shift the drive gear and non-tooth section by 180 deg. for the right half section resulting in facilitation of design of cam face for taking out the driving force, reduction of size and saving of energy. |
