PURPOSE:To expedite cable junction operation to a distributor, etc. by providing a piercing bore conducting over full length from the upper extremity to the lower extremity of a side electrode, namely from a cable junction extremity to an electric discharge cap's inner face protruded extremity. CONSTITUTION:In mold-forming operation of a distributor cap 7, resin infusing mold-forming operation is performed in such a way that a supporting rod is being fixed at its upper and lower extremities, in utilization of the situation that a piercing bore 18 is made its way through from the upper extremity to the lower extremity of a side electrode 17, and by inserting the supporting rod of the side electrode 17 into this up-and-down piercing hollow bore. Thus, a side electrode 18 which is to confront a distributor electrode 5 with a desired precise small gap is able to be easily molded into the forming material of the distriburor cap. |
