<p>An irrigation installation comprises pillars (5) of adjustable height disposed in two parallel rows. A cable (7) extends between each pair of pillars (5). The cables (7) support an irrigation pipe (2) having holes from which water is discharged. Means (10, 11, 14) is provided for adjusting the tension of the cables (7).
