PURPOSE:To perform smooth bar-graph display so as to follow the rotation of an engine and to enhance the response of display, by allotting timing for lighting a plurality of segments corresponding to the rotary number of the engine. CONSTITUTION:The pulse from a rotation sensor 1 proportional to the rotary number of an engine is inputted to a measuring processor 3 through a wave form shaping circuit 2. This measuring processor 3 measures the inputted pulse of the rotation sensor 1 by a build-in counter during a gate time and the rotary number of the engine is subjected to bar-graph display on the basis of the measured value by a bar-graph display device 4. At this time, the measuring processor measures a time required from idling in the non-load state of the engine to the max. rotary number of said engine and the lighting timing of a bar-gaph is allotted on the basis of this time during the gate time. |
