PURPOSE:To heat a residence space efficiently by limited heating capacity immediately after the operation is started by cooperating a fan motor capable of controlling at the rotating speed, and an air direction plate rotated by a small- sized motor to control the diffusing angle, temperature and air flow rate. CONSTITUTION:When diffusing air temperature is low, i.e., immediately after the operation is started, the diffusing air temperature is held at relatively high by decelerating the speed of a fan motor 9, and directing downward an air direction plate 6 by a small-sized motor 11, thereby heating the local area under the air conditioner from the foot. When the room temperature considerably rises, air flow rate is increased, the angle theta of the plate 6 is reduced to heat the floor at the center of the room. In near stable state, the air flow rate is further increased to enhance the efficiency of the refrigerating cycle to save electric energy. The air flow rate and diffusing angle theta are controlled while sensing the sucking and diffusing air temperatures. |
