PURPOSE:To raise the accuracy of assembling and to thereby raise the fan efficiency, by assembling a fan such that the outer end faces of lugs formed at the outer peripheral portion of fan blades are held in contact with the inner peripheral surface of a fan cowling, and then removing the lugs from the fan blades. CONSTITUTION:In a fan 3, the outside of which is covered by a cylindrical fan cowling 2 attached to a radiator 1, lugs 31 are formed at the outer peripheral portion of fan blades 30, and a thin portion 32 is formed at the base portion of each lug 31. Here, the fan 3 has, for instance, four lugs 31 disposed substantilly equidistantly in the circumferential direction, and they are formed to have a size corresponding to the inner peripheral surface of the fan cowling 2. In assembling the fan 3, the fan cowling 2 is fixed to the radiator 1 temporarily and then the fan 3 is inserted into the fan cowling 2 in the mannet that the outer end faces of lugs 31 are held in contact with the inner peripheral surface of the fan cowling 2. Thereafter, the fan cowling 2 is fixed to the radiator 1 securely and then the lugs 31 are moved at their thin portions 32. |
