<p>A conveyor for conveying a succession of substantially identical articles towards a discharging or treatment zone provided with delaying means, preferably vertical belts driven at a lower speed than the conveyor, for delaying the articles sufficiently to substantially close any unequal gaps existing between the articles, the articles leaving the delaying means being again accelerated up to the travelling speed of the conveyor thereby creating uniform distances between successive articles.</p> |
