PURPOSE:To simplify the constitution of a plant diagnosis device with reduction of cost by starting a data collecting/processing device and the diagnosis device independently of each other. CONSTITUTION:A data collecting/processing device 10 is started periodically by a scheduler 1 and collects and processes data to store them to a data base 5. In this case, the data collection is not synchronous with the actuation of a diagnosis device 9. This device 9 applies a conversational system to perform analysis of a plant fault and its questions/answers. Then the device 9 is started by a manual input/output device 7 and performs diagnosis based on the data on the base 5 to display the result of diagnosis to a display device 4. While the device 10 performs the processing operations requiring no decision such as the four rules of arithmetic, the integration, the collection of carrier values, etc. |
