PURPOSE:To reduce the thermal stress in a regenerative-cycle gas turbine, by controlling the fuel flow rate to minimize the temperature difference of exhaust gas passed through a regenerator of the gas turbine and air discharged from the regenerator even at the time when the load of the gas turbine is being increased. CONSTITUTION:In a gas turbine, in which heat possessed by combustion gas exhaust after driving the gas turbine is recovered by a regenerator and used for heating air discharged from an air compressor, a temperature controlling system, a speed controlling system and a start controlling system are provided for controlling the flow rate of fuel supplied to a combustor. The temperature controlling system comprises a plurality of thermocouples 32 for detecting the temperature of air discharged from the regenerator. The output of a mean-value calculating means 21 for calculating the mean value of the output signals of said thermocouples 32 is converted (at 22) into a voltage level, and then it is compared with a signal obtained by processing the outputs of exhaust-gas thermocouples 20. With such an arrangement, a lower signal out of the signal corresponding to the difference of the above two temperatures and the output signal of a means 25 for determining the rate of load change is utilized as the rate of load change. |
