发明名称 METHOD OF CONTROLLING FUEL SUPPLY AT THE TIME OF DECELERATING INTERNAL-COMBUSTION ENGINE
摘要 PURPOSE:To lower the specific fuel consumption and to prevent burn-out of a catalyst, by changing the value of the opening of a throttle valve for judging whether fuel supply is to be stopped from a first prescribed value to a second prescribed value greater than the first prescribed value when an engine is operated under particular conditions. CONSTITUTION:At the time of decelerating operation of an engine when the opening of a throttle valve 3 detected by a throttle-valve opening sensor 4 becomes smaller than a ''fuel cut'' judging value, control is executed by an electronic control unit (ECU) 5 to stop fuel supply from a fuel injection valve 6. Further, judgement is made on the basis of the output signals of an engine-speed sensor 11, a sensor 15 for detecting the temperature of a catalyst and an air-conditioner switch 17a whether the engine is operated under particular conditions or not. In case that judgement is made that the engine is not operated under said particular conditions, the aforesaid ''fuel cut'' judging value is set at a first prescribed value. On the other hand, in case that judgement is made that the engine is operated under said particular conditions, the ''fuel cut'' judging value is set at a second prescribed value greater than the first prescribed value.
