PURPOSE:To prevent toner from scattering and inject toner speedily and uniformly by inserting the neck of a toner bottle into the developer injection opening of a sealed casing and moving the bottle for toner injection. CONSTITUTION:When the developer in a developer supplementing device 17 decreases in amount, the external lid 18a of the casing 18 is opened. Then, the neck part of the container is inserted into the injection opening and the container 23 is gripped to inject a developer into the casing 18 while a moving plate 21 is moved reciprocally from one lengthwise terminal to the other terminal of the casing 18. The external lid 18a is closed after the injection is completed. Even if the developer scatters during the injection of the developer, the top surface of the casing 18 is closed tightly, so the developer neither scatters around the casing 18 to contaminate the circumference nor exerts evil influence upon the human body. |
