PURPOSE:To prevent leakage reliably while to assure high speed rotation of rotary shaft by providing a tightening margin against the rotary shaft at the position nearer to the outer end than the inward flange section of shaft inserting section then fitting a felt seal. CONSTITUTION:An end seal ring 7 is comprised of a pair of splitted rings where a plurality of inward flanges 8 are provided on the innercircumferential face with predetermined interval. Said flanges 8 will form a labyrinth together with a plurality of outward flanges 10 provided around a rotary shaft 9. When mounting a felt seal ring 11 on the innercircumferential section at the outer end of end seal ring 7, a tightening margin is provided against the rotary shaft 9. Through initial abrasion/hardening of felt seal ring 11, the gap against the rotary shaft 9 is brought to zero resulting in prevention of oil leakage and intrusion of dust. |
