PURPOSE:To increase heat insulating effect by a method wherein a heat reflecting plate, a gasket defining an air layer, and a fireproof wall plate are piled sequentially on the end face of the cylinder heat to reduce heat releasing to the outside through the fireproof wall plate made of ceramics. CONSTITUTION:The cylinder head 2 is provided with a cylindrical section 16 on the wall contacting with a combustion chamber and the heat reflecting plate 15, the gasket 3 and the fireproof wall plate 1 made of ceramics are piled sequentially and supported in the inner part of the cylindrical section 16. The heat reflecting plate 15 is formed by a thin metallic plate and provided with holes 6b for suction and exhaust port and the hole 13b for a fuel injection nozzle while the metal plating is applied on the surface of the plate opposing to the combustion chamber to form the heat reflecting surface. The gasket 3 is provided integrally with sealing sections 8, 10, surrounding said respective holes 6a, 13a, and the sealing section 7 surrounding the peripheral rim of the fireproof wall plate 1. Said sealing section 7 defines the air layer 11 and keeps the safety of the fireproof wall plate 1. |
