PURPOSE:To prevent secondary injection as well as generation of cavity during operation and deterioration of fuel during stopping by a method wherein the outlet oil path of a plunger chamber for a fuel pump is connected directly to an injection pipe and a non-return valve is provided in the oil supplying pipe of a fuel valve. CONSTITUTION:The oil suppling chamber 105, plunger chamber 106 and pump oil path 302 of the fuel pump 1 are filled with oil and the fuel is compressed when a plunger 102 is ascended. When the pressure of the fuel is delivered to the oil reservoir 207 of the fuel valve 3 through the injection pipe 2, a needle valve 201 is opened and the fuel is injected. When a cavity is generated in the high-pressure system after the fuel injection is finished, the non-return valve 601 is opened and the fuel enters from the oil suppling pipe 606 to fill up the cavity. When the engine is being stopped, the fuel passes through the oil supplying pipe 606, opens the non-return valve 601 forcibly, passes through the injection pipe 2, enters into the fuel pump 1, circulates from the communicating hole 12 of returning oil to an oil returning pipe whereby the flow of the fuel is maintained and the deterioration of the fuel may be prevented. |
