<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the operation cost of a dust collector, by forming the outer shell of a dust collecting chamber from an inside wall and an outside wall provided at a predetermined interval from the inside wall and heating the inside wall by hot exhaust gas in the dust collecting chamber. CONSTITUTION:The outer shell 17 of an electric dust collector 16 is formed of a double structure consisting of an inside wall 17a and an outside wall 17b provided at a predetermined interval from the inside wall 17a and the open air is introduced into the gap 19 between both walls from the air intake orifice 18 of the outside wall 17b. In addition, this open air is heated by the hot exhaust gas in a dust collecting chamber 32 through the inside wall 17a and sent to an insulator chamber 26. By this method, air can be sent to the insulator chamber 26 by small power and the operation cost of the electric dust collector is reduced.</p> |
