The tester, for fault-current circuit breakers, has a test button projecting out of the breaker housing and simulating a fault current. An insulating board is fixed above the magnet release laminar yoke and carries the fixed contacts with which the test button moving contact bridge contacts. Each fixed contact has a U-shape and engages over the supply wire. The ends of the U locate in holes in the insulating board and are bent over to hold the contact and wire in place. The button contact bridge is seated in a blind hole that prevents it rotating.
