Device has a head-down swivelling needle half-disc and approx. radially movable sling sinkers for taking up and transferring the thread half-loops of the sinkers loops of the one semi-cylinder to the needles of the other semi-cylinder, whereby for each thread half-loop to be taken up and transferred, provision is made for at least two sling sinkers, of which at least one has a hook open in an upward direction in the take-up position of the needle half-disc and at least one sling sinker has, in the same position, a tongue curved downwards, the points of the hook and tongue overlapping in the inward horizontal swivelling position. |
