PURPOSE:To form titled photosensitive paper which has good shelf life and yields the image having high density without color fading by incorporating metallic chloride and a relatively small amt. of diazo compd. into the under layer (1st photosensitive layer) of a photosensitive layer made into two-layered construction. CONSTITUTION:The 1st photosensitive layer (lower layer) and 2nd photosensitive layer (upper layer) consisting principally of the diazo compd. expressed by the formula [R1, R2 are 1-5C alkyl; R3, R4 are (oxy, cyclo)alkyl (may form a heterocyclic ring in combination); X is anion] and a coupling component are provided on a base to form two-component type diazo photosensitive paper. (i) The total amt. of the diazo compd. to be incorporated into both layers of the above-montioned paper is made at >=0.1g/m<2> ratio with respect to the base, (ii) the ratio of the diazo compd. incorporated into the 1st photosensitive layer is made lower than that of the 2nd photosensitive layer and (iii) >=0.3g/m<2> metallic chloride (e.g.; zinc chloride) with respect to the base is incorporated into the 1st photosensitive layer. |
