PURPOSE:To enable to flow melt resin with no resistance from a solid bed groove to a melt pool groove by a structure wherein the depth of the solid bed groove divided from the melt pool groove by an auxiliary flight is gradually decreased from the starting point of the auxiliary flight in the downstream direction to the final point of the auxiliary flight. CONSTITUTION:The width of a solid bed groove 8 is made to be in the range of 0.5-about 0.88 of the total width in the direction of a screw shaft. In addition, the depth of the solid bed groove 8 is gradually decreased from the starting point 61 of an auxiliary flight 6 in the downstream direction to the final point 62 of the auxiliary flight 6. Further, the depth of a melt pool groove 7 is gradually increased from the starting point 61 of the auxiliary flight 6 in the downstream direction to the final point 62 of the auxiliary flight 6. Accordingly, the taper angle of the solid bed groove 8 is larger than that of the melt pool groove 7 and at the same time, the compressive action applied to the solid bed groove 8 is larger than that applied to the melt pool groove 7, resulting in fully kneading the melt resin. |
