A ski which is assembled from three sections (a, c, p) has a coupling unit (1, 2) located ahead and behind the ski binding. The coupling consists of a clamp block (t) which is fixed to each section that is used to form a joint. One or several coupling pins (G) are then inserted into two neighbouring clamp blocks where they are fixed by clamp screws (v). The system produces a rigid joint between the individual ski sections which can easily be dismantled when the ski is transported. A small vertical step (h, hl) on the underside of the ski, which is formed at each joint, ensures that the ski slides forward without resistance, whilst it prevents backwards sliding.
|
