PURPOSE:To dispose the switching mechanism of the electricity feeding pieces and to reduce the contact resistance between the electricity feeding piece and the wire electrode so as to improve the reliability of electricity feeding by fixing the electricity feeding piece inside of the pipe guide using a spring mechanism and further by providing the pipe guide which can be dismantled into several parts. CONSTITUTION:The electricity is fed from a power source to a wire electrode via a bearing 38, pipe guide 64 and an electricity feeding piece 70, whereas the wire holder 72 is supplied with electricity by contact with the wire electrode 10 with the electricity feeding piece 70. The electricity feeding piece 70 which is divided into several parts is winded with an electrically conductive tape 73 and fixed to the pipe guide 64. Additionally, each part of the electricity feeding piece are fixed with respect to each other by a compressing spring 75. Thus imperfect contacts between the electricity feeding piece 70 and the pipe guide 64, and between the parts of the electricity feeding piece are avoided and reliable feeding of electricity to the electricity feeding piece 70 is promised. Furthermore, the electricity feeding piece 70 and the wire holder 72 can be replaced easily by dismantling the pipe 66 from the pipe guide 64 and thus the position of the pipe guide 64 can be set in accordance with the change of the board thickness of the material to be machined. |
