DISPLAYING METHOD OF OIL CHANGE PERIOD INFORMATION ON VEHICLE

PURPOSE:To confirm an oil change period easily and accurately by displaying the running distance of a vehicle after an oil change as information on the oil change period. CONSTITUTION:A counter circuit 28 is backed up by an on-vehicle battery 34, so its running distance integral value 102 is held all the time. The integral value 102 is cleared with a reset switch 32 which is operated during oil changing work, and then the circuit 28 counts the signal 100 of a rotation detection sensor 30 when the vehicle is driven. The integral value 102 is displayed as oil change period information on a light emitting diode display device 16 through a driver 22. The lighting display is made on the basis of the operation position of a switch 38 in the period from the operation of the switch 38 to the start of the engine. Thus, the oil change period is confirmed easily and securely to perform oil maintenance suitably.
