<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a coordinate input device which can keep high accuracy for a long period of time with reduction of breakage of resistance films due to friction, by setting dot spacers between two detection plates having resistance films with adhesion secured between the dot spacers and both detection plates. CONSTITUTION:Detection plates 11 and 12 are obtained by attaching even resistance films 13 and 14 on an insulated plate, and electrodes are provided at two sides of said resistance films respectively. Dot spacers 15 and made of an insulated material and adhered to both plates 11 and 12. When the writing pressure is applied onto the plate 11 by a pen 16, the film 13 is just bent and has no friction due to spacers 15 since these spacers are adhered to both plates 11 and 12. This reduces the breakage of films 13 and 14 greatly and therefore can keep high accuracy for a long period of time for a coordinate input device.</p> |
