摘要 PURPOSE:To compensate a measurement error due to a propagation error by storing previously a sea/land decision memory with data on a sea section and a land section from each transmitting station in the azimuth direction of every unit angle to the real azimuth. CONSTITUTION:A radio wave of Loran C from an antenna 14 is amplified by a receiver 15 and a time difference measurement part 16 measures the reception time difference of the radio wave from a master station from the radio wave from a slave station. A coordinate conversion part 22 calculates longitude and latitude as to a combination of two transmitting stations having the measured time difference. Consequently, a top/bottom decision part 23 find which of two obtained reception position is correct. An azimuth distance arithmetic part 24 calculates the real azimuth to the transmitting station which sends out the radio wave. This result is used by an error arithmetic part 25 to calculate the time difference error. The sea/land section memory 26 is stored with data on a sea and a land section in the azimuth for executing the arithmetic.
