<p>PURPOSE:To realize excellent slow reproduction and still reproduction with no adjustment by detecting a tape stop position from a pilot signal included in a reproducing signal to decide a constant speed running time at tape feeding. CONSTITUTION:Four continuous video tracks of a magnetic tape are taken as one period, and pilot signals having different frequencies together with a video signal are recorded on each of the 4 tracks. Moreover, a stop position detecting means 42 outputs a signal representing a distance from one end of one period of a magnetic tape stop position at magnetic tape stop. Then the time running the magnetic tape at a constant speed is changed in response to the output of the means 42. As a result, the tape is carried to a tape stop position where no noise appears on a screen with no adjustment.</p> |
