PURPOSE:To rectify any bend of a rodlike body, by providing a belt for conveying the rodlike body and a holding plate for pressing the rodlike body under a suitable pressure, and rotating the rodlike body between the belt and the holding plate. CONSTITUTION:When a rodlike body 1 is placed between a belt 2 and a holding plate 4 and a rotating plate 8 is rotated, since an eccentric pin 9 is engaged in a guide groove 6 in a slider 7 attached to the holding plate 4, the holding plate 4 rocks longitudinary. As a result the rodlike body 1 placed between the holding plate 4 and the belt 2 is repeatedly rotated irregularly, and after any bent of the rodlike body is rectified, the rodlike body is from the end of the belt to the subsequent step. In this case, the pressing force of the holding plate 4 against the rodlike body can be controlled by the position of a weight balance 19 in accordance with the hardness of the rodlike body. |
