PURPOSE:A cosmetic useful as a skin cosmetic, or a scalp cosmetic, having synergistically increased improving effect on chapped skin, obtained by blending allantoin and/or its derivative and a pure brown dyestuff extracted from crude sugar. CONSTITUTION:A cosmetic comprising one or more selected from allantoin shown by the formula and its derivative (e.g., dehydroxyaluminum allantoinate, etc.) and a substantially pure brown dyestuff (sugar dyestuff). It contains 0.001- 5.0wt%, preferably 0.05-3.0wt% allantoin and/or its derivative, and 0.0001- 3.0wt%, preferably 0.001-1.0wt% sugar dyestuff. It is useful as nutritive cream, hand cream, milky lotion, pack, scalp cosmetic. |
