PURPOSE:To make a front visual field at the broken side so as to be secured in sight, by installing a breakage detecting device finding the breaking of a light source filament for low beam use and a selecting device selecting a cornering lamp to a state of being lighted by compulsion. CONSTITUTION:A relay 14 consists of a relay coil 14a for breakage detection in a light source filament 36a used for a law beam at the right and a normally- open contact 14b to select a cornering lamp 40a from the non-lighting state to the lighting state. When the light source filament 36a used for a low beam at the right is broken down, a continuous rating current to be fed to the relay coil 14a is cut off and simultaneously with this breakage, the contact 14b comes into a state of being closed. Therefore, conduction is forcedly carried out for the cornering lamp 40a at the right, thus the lamp 40a is lighted. |
