PURPOSE:To prevent the degradation of slope and river bed, etc., by a method in which connected materials of concrete blocks are laid in a plural row from sloped ground to the river bed in such a way that the blocks of the connected materials are set in an alternately coupling manner. CONSTITUTION:Connected materials 4 formed by connecting concrete blocks 1 with connectors 3 are laid in plural rows from the slope 5 along a river to the river bed in such a way as to alternately couple the blocks 1. The upper end portions of the connectors 3 are coupled to the slope 5 by anchors 6. The erosion of the slope and river bed, etc., can be prevented even when the water level is increased by heavy rain, etc., up to the middle and upper stages of the slope 5. Since countless recessions and projections are formed over the whole area where the blocks 1 are laid by the projections 2 of the blocks 1, the energy of water stream can be damped. |
