PURPOSE:To rotate a cylinder efficiently by locally functioning low pressure onto a portion of outer face of cylinder. CONSTITUTION:A cylinder 2 is placed rollably but not slidably on a rail 3 having height h0 while a low pressure container 7 for forming an enclosed space with a flange 8 movable horizontally along the rail 3 and the outer face of cylinder 2 is provided then a hollow needle is pierced through a rubber projection 10 to bring the pressure P1 in said container 7 lower than the outer air pressure. Upon motion of said container 7 in the arrow 5 direction, suction force P1sy will function onto the outer face of cylinder 2 because of low pressure to urge rotation of cylinder 2 which will slide on the contact face of flange 8 under enclosed state with correspondence to the motion of said container 7. Consequently, the cylinder 2 will rotate on the rail in accordance with the motion of low pressure container 7. |
